Supply Chain Operations Manager

The brainchild of New York City restaurateur Michael Chernow, Kreatures of Habit was born

with one simple goal in mind—Give people the power to harness healthy habits from wake up to

wind down. Launched in August of 2021 with our flagship product, “Meal One,” a high protein

overnight oatmeal, we continue to expand our product portfolio and brand story to deliver on our

mission.

We are seeking a Supply Chain Operations Manager, reporting to the COO / Cofounder, to

execute on the day-to-day operational responsibilities of the business. The main requirement is

that you show up each day with a “No Matter What” mindset; willing to do whatever is needed to

help deliver on the company’s mission, keep our customers happy, and support the growth and

success of the brand.

Responsibilities

● Compile weekly demand planning across all SKUs

● Plan purchase orders and manage procurement of raw materials as needed

● Serve as the main point of contact for 3PL and across suppliers ranging from

consumable packaging to raw ingredients to apparel & accessories

● Coordinate with the 3PL to troubleshoot any fulfillment issues ranging from gaps in

system communications to deliverability issues to customers

● Work with graphic designer to maintain dielines for product packaging

● Implement scalable solutions to maintain quality as the business grows

● Support customer service team with all product and fulfillment related issues as needed

● Be an integral component of executing on the launch of our wholesale channel and other

B2B/retail opportunities

● Identify areas of opportunity within direct margin of the business

● Gain expertise in understanding all aspects of our supply chain

● Maintain the highest standard of quality for all products brought to market

● Aid on ad hoc tasks that come up which may not fall directly under the scope of the

Operations team (i.e. finance or marketing related)

● Assist in month close COGS analysis

Qualifications

● 2-4 years of professional experience in the CPG industry

● Proficient in Microsoft & Google platforms; Shopify experience is a plus

● Fully understand the demands and expectations of working at a start up

● Passionate about the health, wellness, & fitness space a plus

● Strong written and verbal communication, as well as relationship management skills

● Ability to manipulate and understand data sets

● Desire to learn new skills and support development of process flows

● Detail-oriented and highly organized

Compensation for this role ranges between $75k-95k depending on qualifications and

experience. The company offers Medical, Dental, & Vision benefits. Bonus potential based on

individual and company performance.

This is a remote role. NY based a plus.
