Base pay range

$50,000.00/yr - $65,000.00/yr
Overview: Sweetgreen is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Supply Chain Department Assistant & Program Coordinator to support the team with ongoing organizational activities. This role will focus on ensuring success of department leaders as well as coordinating among internal and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate will be eager to take on any task, demonstrating a can-do attitude and the ability to work collaboratively across teams. Responsibilities

  • Coordination and Communication:
    • Coordinate with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
    • Handle correspondence for practice area leaders with suppliers, distributors, and other stakeholders.
    • Support the department head, department program manager and supply chain leaders in managing event logistics, including meetings, supplier visits, and trade shows.
  • Documentation and Compliance:
    • Work with department leaders to issue documentation and assure strong record keeping and version control is accurate and up-to-date.
    • Execute the collection and organization of samples for quality assurance and regulatory compliance.
    • Assist department head in the preparation and maintenance of compliance reports and records.
  • Data Management and Reporting:
    • Under management guidance prepare data, reports and presentations
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of supply chain activities and performance metrics.
  • Support for Supply Chain Functions:
    • Collaborate with sourcing, supply management, demand management, quality assurance, and sustainability teams to support supply chain operations.
    • Assist in the development and implementation of supply chain processes and best practices.
    • Participate in cross-functional meetings and contribute to project initiatives as needed.
  • Event Management and Correspondence:
    • Organize and coordinate supply chain events, including supplier business reviews, meetings, internal briefings, trade shows and new supplier introductions.
    • Manage all related correspondence, emails and distributions to ensure clear communication and follow-up actions.
Qualifications

  • Technical Expertise:
    • Experience as executive assistant, purchasing coordinator, logistics, or a related field including project management.
    • Proficiency in google suite, microsoft applications, coupa, concur.
    • Experience with supply chain management software and tools including Arrowstream, Foodlogic or Crunchtime is beneficial.
    • Working knowledge of data analysis skills with the ability to interpret and present findings.
  • Organizational and Analytical Skills:
    • Excellent and demonstrated organizational skills and a willing attention to detail.
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
    • Analytical skills to identify trends and opportunities for process improvement.
  • Communication and Collaboration:
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work collaboratively with all levels of suppliers, carriers, and internal teams.
  • Travel:
    • Willingness to travel as required to support supply chain operations and supplier engagements.

Salary Range For This Role

Starting salary range based on experience

$50,000—$65,000 USD
