Summary

Anaconda is seeking a talented Support Engineer I to join our rapidly growing company. This is an excellent opportunity for you to leverage your experience and skills and apply it to the world of data science and machine learning.

What You’ll Do

  • Debugging code and helping customers solve complex problems with Python and Conda ecosystems
  • Working in a ticket queue with SLAs
  • Influence future product development cycles based on customer issue trends
  • Cross-departmental collaboration with custom services, integration, and product
  • Participating in the on-call rotation for urgent customer issues
  • Listening to and being empathetic to customer’s needs
  • Identify and create documentation to enhance the customer experience
  • Participating in Community Forums and other cross-functional projects guided by career development discussions with your manager
  • We are looking for candidates who can work either 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM, 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM, or 11:00 AM - 8:00 PM CST. The position includes participation in an on-call rotation, which runs from Wednesday to Wednesday each week. This rotation is shared among the Support and Implementation teams to provide support for our Workbench customers.

What You Need

  • at least 1 years of experience in a similar role
  • Linux command line and system administration experience
  • Basic networking understanding
  • Cloud (AWS, Google, Azure) and VM infrastructure experience
  • Docker experience and knowledge of Kubernetes
  • Persistent drive to improve workflows and make things better
  • Tenacity to troubleshoot complex problems
  • Strong customer communication skills
  • Passionate about creating positive customer outcomes
  • Python debugging experience
  • Experience with conda installations
  • Basic scripting language experience
