Survey Research Interviewer - Temporary REMOTE

Temprite Services is a division within the University of Massachusetts Chan Medical School, Human Resources, which offers various levels of temporary support for departments within the institution as well as our affiliates.

Enter survey data into survey data capture system; conduct interviews with respondents by telephone; accurately record and code calls as directed; follow protocols in persuading respondents to cooperate; follow protocols to obtain high-quality interview data; participate in quality assurance processes; participate in training as directed; maintain confidentiality according to HIPAA, University and OSR guidelines. Required Skills – High school diploma or equivalent; clear speaking voice; ability to read/write/speak fluently in English; excellent communication skills; sound keyboard skills; ability to work varying schedules

Remote work opportunity, 16-40 hours

  • Bi-lingual proficiency preferred

Major Responsibilities

  • Conduct interviews by telephone and accurately record and code calls as directed;
  • Follow protocols and guidelines in persuading reluctant respondents to cooperate;
  • Follow protocols and guidelines to obtain high quality data;
  • Assist in assembling mail survey packets;
  • Code and data enter mailed questionnaires;
  • Participate in quality assurance processes for all tasks, including telephone interviews and data entry;
  • Participate in on-the-job training and the support of other staff members as directed;
  • Attend and participate in meetings, training, and other departmental initiatives as directed;
  • Maintain confidentiality of procedures, scripts and respondent information according to HIPAA, University, and OSR guidelines;
  • Comply with established University and OSR policies, procedures and objectives;
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent;
  • 6-12 months Call Center experience
  • Clear speaking voice;
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak fluently in English;
  • Excellent communication skills;
  • Sound keyboard skills;
  • Must be available to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends, as required
