Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to promote the adoption of our Real World Evidence solutions
- Identify and target potential clients within the healthcare industry, including pharmaceutical companies, biotech firms, and payer organizations
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers, understanding their needs and aligning our offerings to meet those needs
- Lead the end-to-end sales process, including prospecting, lead generation, qualification, negotiation, and closing deals
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop customized proposals and presentations for potential clients, showcasing the value of our Real World Evidence solutions
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation
- Provide strategic guidance and leadership to the business development team, driving performance and ensuring the achievement of sales targets
- Represent Luminary Group at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to enhance our brand presence and generate leads
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure successful project implementation and customer satisfaction
- Provide regular reports and updates to senior leadership on business development activities, pipeline development, and revenue projections
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field; MBA preferred
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in business development or sales leadership roles within the healthcare industry, with a focus on Real World Evidence (RWE)
- In-depth knowledge of Real World Evidence (RWE) and its applications in healthcare, pharmaceuticals, and/or medical devices
- Proven track record of driving strategic growth, expanding client base, and achieving revenue targets
- Strong network of contacts within the healthcare industry, including pharmaceutical companies, biotech firms, and payer organizations
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence key stakeholders
- Extensive experience leading and managing a business development team, with a focus on driving performance and achieving results
- Strategic thinker with the ability to identify and capitalize on market opportunities, drive innovation, and differentiate our solutions
- Ability to work collaboratively across cross-functional teams and build strong relationships internally and externally
- Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate the team to achieve their full potential
- Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events
