This position is full-time, requires a hybrid schedule, and is only available in New York City.

Responsibilities

We are looking for a strong creative leader with a solid foundation and proven track record of success in leading creative projects from ideation through to execution, and managing every piece in between, along with a growing and talented team. The SVP Creative Director, Art will serve a vital role at Day One– whether you are concepting, designing, producing, or managing, our team will depend on you for all things creative leadership. As the SVP Creative Director, Art, you will work alongside our Chief Creative Officer to craft the future of Day One and our clients. You will be at the forefront of creating culture-obsessed, beautifully crafted, earned media work. Key responsibilities include:

• Inspire internal design + studio teams to think differently and constantly look to elevate their work. These teams include art directors, designers, editors, creators, copywriters, creative strategists, and storytellers
• Lead by example and get hands-on with the work
• Be a leader and champion of big ideas, pushing creative thinking to new and unprecedented places
• Come from a place of earning it, developing concepts designed to connect with culture
• Manage & mentor our Creative Directors and inform where we need to evolve as we grow
• Execute creative and brand vision for our clients and the Day One brand
• Manage multiple projects, clients, and budgets within deadlines
• Consistently manage up to agency leadership. Over communicate when necessary and bring a solution-oriented approach to every challenge
• Review and refine briefs, project plans and staffing across projects, always thinking about how to set the team up for success

Requirements

• 13+ Years experience leading a design-centric creative team
• Experience working across disciplines and bridging the gap between departments
• Experience executing, personally ideating and developing breakthrough concepts - setting an example for the team
• Demonstrated expertise in managing multiple scopes of work
• Ability to project manage deliverables and organizing resources
• Comfortable with complex assignments and leading a diverse team
• Visually led skill-set to lead ideation, presentations, and pitches
• An entrepreneurial spirit and a style that inspires
• Proven leadership across disciplines and channels at an integrated agency
• Bachelor’s degree

The Company is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The base compensation range for this role is $190,000-$225,000 and this position is eligible for benefits that include medical insurance (health, dental, and vision), retirement plan, paid time off, paid parental leave, new business and employee referral bonuses, etc. Please note that the compensation information provided is a good faith estimate for New York City based hires only and is provided pursuant to the New York City Pay Transparency Law. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as candidates' relevant work experience, skills, qualifications, and location.
