System Administrator
****This is an ONSITE role in Costa Mesa****
We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive System Administrator to provide white-glove IT support to our corporate employees. This role will focus on ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems and addressing any technical issues faced by our executives and staff. The ideal candidate will have experience in a predominantly cloud-based environment and be adept at working with Microsoft technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- High-Level IT Support: Deliver top-tier IT support to employees, including executives and VPs, ensuring all IT needs are met efficiently and professionally.
- MSP Collaboration: Work in conjunction with our Managed Service Provider (MSP), who handles most of the help desk and ticketing tasks. Fill in the gaps where needed and ensure that office needs are addressed promptly.
- Office and Equipment Maintenance: Oversee general office IT needs, including equipment updates and maintenance.
- Microsoft Ecosystem: Manage and support Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Azure, EntraID, and other Microsoft Suite applications. Utilize tools like PowerApps to add business value.
- Cloud Transition: Support our transition to a predominantly cloud-based environment (99% within 6 months). Ensure smooth integration and functionality of cloud services.
- Networking and Windows: Maintain and troubleshoot networking issues and Windows environments.
- Customer-Facing Role: Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor as this role involves direct interaction with employees and executives.
- Security: Manage and support Microsoft Defender and Intune, ensuring a secure IT environment.
- Azure Suite Expertise: Provide expertise in the Azure Suite and Azure File Share, ensuring effective utilization and management.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a similar IT support or System Administrator role.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Azure, and other Microsoft technologies.
- Experience with cloud environments and transitioning from on-premises to cloud-based solutions.
- Proficiency in networking, Windows environments, Intune, and Microsoft Defender.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a professional demeanor suited for interacting with high-level executives.
- Ability to work effectively with an MSP and address any gaps in support.
- Experience with PowerApps and other MS Suite commercial applications is a plus.
