System Administrator (Engineer)

Responsibilities

Kforce has a client that is seeking a System Administrator (Engineer) in Costa Mesa, CA. This is a 6-month contract to hire that requires 5 days a week on-site in Orange County, California (CA).

Requirements

• The ideal candidate will have experience working at a start-up or an MSP, with 5-7 years of Windows Administration/Engineering experience and an MCSE and CCNA certification
• 5+ years of Windows Server Administrator experience
• 5+ years of Network Administration experience
• Experience Windows Application, Web and File Servers
• Experience with Azure Application Instance Servers
• Experience with Cisco Networks, Routers, Switches Wireless
• Experience with Storage Area Network (SAN)
• Experience in a Data Center with Patch Management
• Experience with Data Backups and Restore
• Experience installing and configuring SFTP Server
• Experience configuring SSH, Terminal Server, etc.
• Experience configuring and administering Phone System
• Experience configuring and administering Network Security
• Experience configuring and administering Application Sec
• Experience with Azure O365, VPN, etc.
• Experience with Linux Server a plus
• Experience with System Engineering a plus
• Experience with MSSQL Database Servers
  
  

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
