System Administrator (OKC)

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM

EXAMPLES OF WORK PERFORMED FOR SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR:

• Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, hardware, and software.
• Monitor and maintain system security, ensuring that the systems are protected from unauthorized access.
• Troubleshoot and resolve basic system issues and provide support to end-users.
• Implement and maintain system policies and procedures.
• Create and maintain system documentation and diagrams.
• Assist in developing and implementing disaster recovery plans.
• Collaborate with IT team members to ensure that the systems are meeting the needs of the company.
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and trends in system administration.

EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS FOR SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred. Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA), or Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) preferred. At least 1-2 years of experience in system administration or a related field. Basic knowledge of operating systems, such as Windows and Linux. Familiarity with virtualization technologies, such as VMware and Hyper-V. Experience with system monitoring tools, such as Nagios and Zabbix, is a plus. Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; positive attitude when working with customers; knowledge of employment, merchandise handling, and safety procedures. Must be at least 21 years of age with no more than 2 moving violations and 1 chargeable accident within the last three years.

PHYSICAL ACTIVITY REQUIREMENTS: To successfully perform the essential functions of the job, an employee must be able to perform the following: Stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pulling, talking, hearing/listening and repetitive motion.

Heavy Work: Lifting up to 20 lbs. occasionally
