We are seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications:
Install, configure, and maintain enterprise-level applications and systems to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and security.
Monitor system health and performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to minimize downtime and ensure uninterrupted operation.
Perform regular system backups, data restoration, and disaster recovery procedures to safeguard against data loss and ensure business continuity.
Manage user accounts, access controls, and permissions to ensure compliance with security policies and regulatory requirements.
Coordinate with vendors and internal stakeholders to implement software upgrades, patches, and enhancements in a timely manner.
Document system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps to facilitate knowledge sharing and ensure effective system administration.
Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools to streamline system administration tasks and improve operational efficiency.
Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate systems, optimize performance, and implement best practices for system administration.
Stay updated on emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in system administration, and make recommendations for their adoption.
Provide technical support and assistance to end-users, resolving issues and answering questions related to system functionality and usage.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; relevant certifications are a plus.
Proven experience as a System Administrator or similar role, with hands-on experience in administering enterprise-level applications and systems.
Strong knowledge of operating systems (e.g., Windows, Linux) and server administration, including installation, configuration, and maintenance.
Experience with application servers, databases, and middleware technologies such as Apache, Tomcat, MySQL, Oracle, etc.
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform is a plus.
Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python for automation and system administration tasks.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and implement effective solutions.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and priorities in a remote work environment.
Commitment to continuous learning and professional development to stay updated on evolving technologies and best practices in system administration.
