Role: System Engineer
Location: Washington, DC
Work model: HYBRID - Fulltime
Salary: $150,000 - $250,000
CANDIDATE MUST HAVE AN ACTIVE SECURITY CLEARANCE
Must haves:
Active Security Clearance: Required.
Experience: Minimum of six (6) years as a Systems Engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
Education: Five (5) additional years of SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
VMWare Expertise: Proven experience in installing, configuring, and maintaining VMWare products, including but not limited to ESXi, vCenter, VSAN, and NSX.
VDI Environments: Experience with installing, configuring, and maintaining VDI environments, specifically VMWare Horizon View.
Server and Desktop Management: Experience in installing, configuring, and maintaining both physical and virtual Windows and Linux servers and desktops.
Networking Knowledge: Understanding of networking concepts such as routing, switching, encryption, and firewalls.
TCP/IP Networking: Familiarity with TCP/IP networking, architecture, and its relationship to desktops, servers, and operating systems.
Monitoring Solutions: Experience with monitoring solutions and data center operations
