*Responsibilities*

This is a remote position.

Summary

Primarily responsible for controlling and overseeing the distribution channels, ensuring maximum upstream visibility to drivers impacting supply availability for multiple divisions. Maintains a well-balanced risk profile for the organization to absorb the impacts of various supply chain disruptions. Accountable supply chain resource for multiple divisions, responsible for owning key distribution relationships along with key supply chain resources. Develops reporting and operational procedures that guide and support the supply chain teams within a region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Forges successful relationships with distribution stakeholders and supply chain teams to influence the region to optimize supply chain resiliency and mitigate upstream risk
  • Accountable for the performance on key performance indicators
  • Develops and manages reporting and tools that support the management of distribution and other key programs impacting supply availability
  • Ensures compliance with established standard operating procedures and policies that impact the supply chain risk management and resiliency programs
  • Manages and oversees the associated inventory management, replenishment, and asset valuations for nationally managed assets within the 3PL program
  • Promotes improvement efforts throughout organization to streamline processes, optimize financial performance, and identify areas of general inefficiency
  • Ensures department goals and objectives help to carry out the organizations strategic plan, philosophy, and vision
  • Coordinates necessary activities with SSRM Operations team to ensure business continuity and support downtime procedures during disruptive events
  • Supports and provides feedback on necessary data analytics and infrastructure to ensure transparency of inventory position and consumption patterns for critical supplies - articulating exposure across CommonSpirit
  • Provides insights and coordinates the burndown of inventory to support product conversions - includes communication to our regions and distribution partners
  • Partners with appropriate stakeholders to balance inventory optimization with resiliency standards, and implement and monitor those strategies with our region teams / across national inventories

*Qualifications*

Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree and minimum of 3 years leadership experience OR minimum of 5 years leadership experience in the discipline OR Master’s Degree and no leadership experience
  • Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in Supply Chain within a health care facility system or other relevant experience
  • Established leadership skills
  • Knowledge of coaching and mentoring best practices
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Project, Access, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Capable of generating and analyzing large datasets
  • Strong written and oral communications skills
  • Ability to influence and motivate others in order to achieve targets within a determined time period
  • Ability to prepare quick pointed summaries for executives and stakeholders
  • Ability to deal with conflict and difficult people

Preferred

  • Team management and/or project management
  • Change Management and Leadership (LEAD) experience required within first year
  • Incumbents in this job will be grandfathered into educational requirements
