System Support Administrator

We are seeking a System Support Administrator with mainframe support experience for a contract to permanent position with our client, a leading health insurance organization in Nashville, TN. *This is the perfect job for an early bird! You will start your work date at 4:30am, 8-9 hour shifts/Monday-Friday

Direct hire, W2 contract to permanent position, No C2C or 3rd party candidates, please.

*This is a hybrid (2 days remote/3 days onsite) position in Nashville TN. Local candidates or those within a comfortable commuting distance to the Nashville TN office only.

What you will do in this role:

Provide system/production support and monitoring for applications, batch cycles, releases, projects, installations, etc. Participate in work sessions for system support and problem resolution. May provide coordination in workload transition tasks.

• Completing morning check-outs to ensure jobs and systems on the Mainframe are running smoothly.
• Responsible for investigating and resolving any Mainframe issues. Complete ad hoc Mainframe reports.

Required Education/Experience:

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or extra job related IT work experience.
• Two years of technical experience with systems analysis, design, and/or programming experience or other job related IT experience.
• Nice to Have skills: Mainframe production support or development experience, COBOL Programming, Endevor Mainframe DevOps Software, and/or Zeke Mainframe Job Scheduling Software
