Systems Administrator

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Systems Administrator to join our team and be responsible for all aspects of our clients infrastructure. As a Systems Administrator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and optimal performance of our clients' IT environments. This position involves a wide range of responsibilities, from proactive infrastructure assessments and optimization to addressing high-level technical issues. Your expertise will be instrumental in aligning our clients' evolving business needs with the latest technology solutions.

(This position will require onsite client visits)

Responsibilities:

  • Manage All Aspects of Client Infrastructure Including Monitoring, Troubleshooting and Resolution of High-Level Issues.
  • Provide Proactive Infrastructure Assessments and Optimization in Addition to Aligning Dynamic Businesses with the Latest Technology to Improve Efficiency of Business Processes.
  • Writing Technical Documentation for Existing and Future Clients.
  • Scheduled and Reactive Onsite Support for Client Locations.
  • Providing the Highest Tier of Technical Support for Reactive Issues
  • After Hours and Weekend Support for 24x7 Clients. (Monthly On-Call Rotation).
  • Scheduled Visits to Maintain Technical Relationship with Clients including Assessments, Proactive Maintenance and Resolution of Issues
  • Perform Technical Analysis & Alignment Against Established Best Practices.
  • Assist in Maintaining Industry Compliance.


Required Qualifications:

  • 3-5 Years Hands-on Work Experience as a Systems Administrator
  • Extensive Experience with Hyper-V and VMWare Hypervisors Including Deployment, Advanced Troubleshooting and Management.
  • Extensive Experience with Microsoft Server OS in an Enterprise Environment Including Management, Implementations into Dynamic Environments with Various Roles, Migrations, Group Policy Creation / Management and High-Level Troubleshooting.
  • Extensive Experience Managing Backups in an Enterprise Environment Including Local Configuration from Scratch, Managing Retention, Consolidation, Verification, Offsite Replication and Having Experience Restoring Production Server Backups in an Enterprise Environment.
  • Extensive Experience with Enterprise Emails Solutions Such as Exchange, Office 365 and G-Suite Including Ability to Perform Migrations, Maintenance and High-Level Troubleshooting.
  • Ability to Plan, Configure and Deploy a High Availability Infrastructure in an Enterprise Environment from Scratch
  • Strong Communication Skills and the Ability to Interact with a wide Range of Clientele.
  • Certification Aspirations Including Maintaining CEU’s to Stay on Top of the Latest Technology and Keeping Company Best Practices Modernized at the Technology Level.
  • Ability to Develop and Implement Project Plans, Risk Assessments and Contingency Plans.
  • Ability and Organizational Skills to Manage / Complete Projects of Varying Length.
  • Ability to Lift 50-100 Pounds.
  • Valid Driver's License and Clean Driving Record Required / Reliable Transportation.
