Job Description

This position administers systems used by research teams to support the First Presidency and Quorum of the Twelve Apostles in their responsibility to ensure that the Church remains one in Christ. As a systems administrator supporting the Correlation Research Division, you will combine your skills and experience to provide systems support in Adobe Workfront and other software systems. In this important work, you will collaborate with a team of researchers and a project manager in the Research Division of the Church’s Correlation Department.

PURPOSES

This position supports researchers and teams to support the First Presidency and Quorum of the Twelve Apostles in their responsibility to ensure that the Church remains one in Christ.

Your primary responsibility will be to maintain and optimize systems, including providing the Research Division with Workfront support. Your assignments will include configuring systems, building and maintaining dashboards for data analysis, and assisting researchers with existing systems. You will work closely with the Workfront project manager and other stakeholders to understand needs and develop effective Workfront solutions. It’s important that candidates are comfortable working with data within a faith-driven organization.

WORK LOCATION

This position operates in a hybrid capacity, requiring in-office presence at least once per week.

Preference will be given to those who are legally authorized to work in the US, who live in or are willing to relocate to Salt Lake City, Utah. Secondary preference will be given to those who are authorized to work in one of the following countries and are willing to relocate to the specified cities: Tokyo, Japan; Aukland, New Zealand; Manilla, Philippines; Accra, Ghana; Nairobi, Kenya; Johannesburg, South Africa; Frankfurt, Germany; London, England; Mexico City, Mexico; Guatemala City, Guatemala; Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic; Lima, Peru; Sao Paulo, Brazil; Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Responsibilities

  • Set up accounts for new users in systems and tools
  • Maintain update, and optimize current implementations of systems
  • Configure systems to optimize user productivity
  • Manage help desk for the system and ensure all items receive resolution
  • Build and design reports and dashboards for data analysis
  • Stay up to date on system features and enhancements by actively participating in the broader system user community
  • Develop and deliver communication and training on new features and system improvements
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and system integration.
  • Provide requirements to development teams based on user feedback
  • Troubleshoot system issues and report bugs to developers or the software company’s tech support and ensure timely resolution
  • Maintain internal documentation to aid in user training and support
  • Perform tests before releasing new features/functionality to users
  • Proactively monitor the Workfront database to ensure data integrity, performing regular audits and cleanups to optimize system performance
  • Work closely with the Workfront project manager and other stakeholders to understand needs and develop effective Workfront solutions.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or related discipline
  • 5+ years of experience working in technical environment
  • 3 years of experience providing customer service
  • Proficiency in administering enterprise systems and tools
  • Experience working with databases, development teams, and enterprise tools
  • Strong problem – solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues with little oversight
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language
  • Process-oriented with excellent organizational skills
  • Demonstrated proficiency in prioritization strategies to manage multiple requests and deadlines effectively
  • Proactive and results-oriented
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively
  • Ability to manage and diffuse high pressure situations
  • Fluency in English

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Workfront, especially as a system administrator
  • Understanding of Workfront text mode, including creating calculated fields and custom report columns
  • Experience with process improvement, systems design, or process mapping
  • Deep understanding of a culture outside of the United States (e.g., more than serving a mission outside of the United States)
