Systems Administrator

The Windows Administrator will be responsible for managing the Windows Server environment across a variety of environments; on-prem, virtualized, and in AWS or Azure.

This person will also be responsible for elevated Active Directory/ Microsoft Entra maintenance and administration. GPO creation and maintenance Future state will include hyper-converged infrastructure and elastic cloud solutions. These resources will work with other IT Ops teams to ensure effectiveness of current and future Windows systems.

Primary responsibilities will include the installation, maintenance, and support of:

- Windows Server (2012/R2-2022)

- Active Directory

- Exchange Online

- Scripting/Automation (PowerShell, Ansible, Python)

- Networking (TCP/IP, DNS)

- File Sharing

- Security/Monitoring/Performance including GPO

- Deployment across On-prem, virtual, and Cloud

- Veeam Backups

Other tech includes:

- Linux

- AWS and/or

- Azure

Major bonus points

SharePoint (even basic)
