About The Role

The Senior Systems Developer and Administrator is part of an in-house Service Delivery, Privacy and GRC team within the Technology segment of FTI Consulting. You will influence and drive Adaptive Project Management and Reporting (APMR) objectives by leveraging your technical skills and business acumen. You will also be responsible for the day-to-day administration, and operations of the Planview AdaptiveWork solution (formerly Clarizen) as well as other CRM solutions. This position provides a tremendous opportunity for a dynamic, forward-thinking individual to provide FTI Technology with critical system automation and administration with a focus on the growth, development, integration, and maintenance of our implemented solutions.

What You'll Do

  • Provide administrative and development support with custom configurations and development, user support/training, technical support, user account management, user permissions and reporting for the solutions within scope.
  • Work with other members in the team to gather requirements, develop, and implement processes to improve operational results and drive business process integrations (including integration with other solutions).
  • Be responsible for programmatic development and declarative development while maintaining quality assurance. This includes custom extensions, portals, API integrations, and applications related to AdaptiveWork and/or other solutions.
  • Customize fields, views, layouts, panels, email templates, workflow rules, validation rules, custom actions, custom panels, and manage custom applications/extensions.
  • Maintain expert knowledge of AdaptiveWork (APMR), Salesforce functionality, and other solutions as directed, including but not limited to new release changes.
  • Evangelize solution adoption and their ongoing success.
  • Enhance the user experience and enable users to utilize FTI's solutions in various ways to further business value.
  • Create and maintain product backlogs, technical documentation, solution cards, meeting minutes, user documentation, release notes, workflow diagrams, and operating procedures.
  • Assist with creating policies.
  • Perform Data Management tasks, maintaining data privacy and security controls, including but not limited to, compliance, de- duplication of data, preventing orphan data, and managing bulk data imports/exports and transformations.
  • Be responsible for solution upgrades/maintenance, including identifying break-fix changes, developing plans to mitigate new release impact and communicating changes to leadership and users.
  • Maintain solution health by following and enforcing industry standards and FTI procedures (change management, incident and problem management processes, etc.) while complying with privacy and security policies.
  • Be responsible for code changes and assisting with quality assurance/testing of custom extensions, portals, API integrations, and applications related to AdaptiveWork and/or other solutions.
  • Provide timely updates on progress of projects and tasks.

Basic Qualifications

What You Will Need to Succeed

  • 4 years of .NET C# development experience.
  • 1 years of experience with SQL Server or any RDBMS database, RDB design concepts and data management.
  • Experience working with APIs and integrating with external platforms and services.
  • 1 year of Experience working with Azure Cloud with regard to development or within a cloud environment (AWS).
  • Fluency in web/UI development fundamentals, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and a working understanding of at least one modern web framework.
  • Experience with best practices in code standards and working with Git code versioning in an agile environment (linting, code reviews, branching strategies, CICD).
  • 3 years of relevant professional work experience with administration, customization, and technical support.
  • 2 years of experience with process analysis skills; ideally, with experience in developing and documenting process flows, defining requirements, and translating them into solution implementations.
  • 4 years of experience in Microsoft Windows and related software, especially Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to travel to clients and FTI office(s).
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; this position does not provide visa sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Experience with AdaptiveWork (formerly Clarizen).
  • Ability to work with data in complex spreadsheets and databases.
  • Experience with Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM), Configure Price Quote (CPQ) and helpdesk ticketing applications, such as Conga CLM, Luminance, Conga CPQ, Salesforce, ServiceNow.
  • Experience with other project management applications (MS Project, Azure DevOps, Jira).
  • Experience with web/browser automation tools (Selenium, iMacros, Axiom.ai, UiPath).
  • Experience with Power BI reporting.
