Systems Engineer

Responsibilities

Kforce has a client that is seeking several Fully Remote Systems Engineers to join their team. Summary: As a Systems Engineer, you will be working with an application called Vantage. They have external APIs that come through Vantage where Vantage acknowledges it, secures it, make sure it works, then directs it to its proper location. This application is handling 3-4 billion requests per month and is vital to the success of the client. The application itself is built in React/GO, but this team manages the platform and all the layers in-between. Their biggest and most current initiative is setting another layer called TCP calls and leveraging this with remote secure connection of databases from external to internal. This platform is Linux centric, but is heavily focused on Terraform, Docker and GCP/PCF. This candidate will be heavily managing this platform on the day to day through updating it, writing, and modifying terraform modules, assisting with deployments, understanding the traffic and metrics, and ensuring availability and scalability of this massive system.

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
