We are seeking a dynamic Talent Acquisition Partner to join our team, contributing to our goal of building world-class teams throughout Waites internal departments. This position will play a critical role in identifying, attracting, and hiring top talent to support our growing corporate functions and will be instrumental in ensuring we have the right people, in the right roles, to achieve strategic objectives. As Sr. Recruiter, you will focus on recruiting various skills for the departments of administrative, finance, human resources, installation, sales, customer success, engineering, vibration analytics, and other support positions that are essential for the fast paced growth we are experiencing. Company Description:We are a leading provider of wireless, mesh-networked, "Internet of Things" (IoT) sensors for industrial environments. Our cost-effective, plug-and-play products empower businesses of all sizes to conduct as needed predictive and preventative maintenance on mission-critical and secondary equipment in order to maximize uptime.

Job Description:

This position will give you the opportunity to -

  • Learn and execute all steps of the talent acquisitions and recruiting life cycle, including posting jobs, intake of recruiting needs, sourcing candidates, arranging interviews, interviewing, discussing compensation, collecting feedback, negotiating offers, kick starting onboarding, and coordinating first day with Waites.
  • Source and recruit top talent, building a robust talent pipeline through various strategies including passive and active outreach, online databases, job boards, social media sites, networking, and employee referrals
  • Entrench yourself within the organization to fully understand each position, associated responsibilities, and how roles collaborate cross-functionally, ensuring the best fit for company needs
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills, a proactive attitude, and adaptability in a growing, transforming organization
  • Partner with leaders to identify top talent to fulfill internal needs, conducting recruiting intake calls to gather information about the position and best fit
  • Leverage resources including but not limited to LinkedIn, Paylocity, Slack, Google Suite, Indeed, etc.
  • Manage and improve internal recruiting processes to increase effectiveness and drive results
  • Share information about our awesome organization and cool culture by embracing and understanding it, bringing in candidate who align with our fast-paced environment
  • Create a smooth and positive candidate experience that represents the company brand and commitment to excellent customer service and delight.
  • Provide follow-up correspondence to candidates on recruiting status via phone and email
  • Screen all candidates, conduct phone screens, coordinate next-step interviews with hiring leaders and teams, and collect feedback throughout the hiring process, assisting leaders with decisions when necessary
  • Conduct regular meetings with leaders to educate hiring teams on recruiting best practices, market data, industry trends, etc.
  • Establish and maintain relationships at local colleges and universities, participating in various school career fairs
  • Maintain data integrity within the applicant tracking system, updating candidate records, job posting, and confirming new hire through pre-employment to day one start
  • Track and analyze recruitment metrics to measure the effectiveness of sourcing strategies, candidate engagement efforts, and overall recruitment performance
  • As the subject matter expert for recruiting and talent acquisitions, identify and report themes or trends that are impacting our ability to be competitive in the marketplace and across our industry


Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of recruiting experience
  • Preferred 1 year of business partner experience
  • Proven ability to identify, analyze, and resolve recruitment challenges proactively
  • Skilled in developing innovative solutions to attract and retain top talent
  • Strong negotiation skills, capable of securing competitive offers and favorable terms for candidates and the company
  • Ability to persuade, motivate, and influence stakeholders at various levels
  • Ability to work effectively in team environment, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to meet recruitment objectives
  • Capable of delivering independent results, managing tasks and projects, and prioritizing without supervision
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for clear and effective interaction with candidates, hiring managers, and external partners
  • Ability to present complex information in an understand and actionable manner
  • Strong commitment to excellence and delivering outstanding customer delight throughout the recruitment process
  • Excellent time management skills, suitable for a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
  • Comfortable with data-driven decision-making to enhance recruitment process
  • Deep understanding of positions and organizational structures
  • Willingness to take initiative and drive continuous improvement
  • Proficient in utilizing ATS and other recruitment technologies and aptitude to learn new systems when needed
  • Ability to follow work direction and prioritize assigned tasks, perform basic math calculations accurately, and communicate effectively (both verbally and written)
  • Willingness to stretch current ability to learn new skills


Preferred Skills

  • HR Business Partner experience is highly preferred
  • Experience working in a startup or small-medium sized company preferred
  • Prior Staffing / Agency experience is preferred
  • Self-starter with excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Positive attitude with a great work ethic
  • Strong propensity to learn
