Perform tank and vessel cleaning which includes cleaning of the interiors of storage tanks to remove products or bottoms using shovels, squeegees, scrapers or other means as required.
Utilize different types of equipment during the tank cleaning process may including, but not limited to PSI washer, wash down hoses, suctions and discharge hoses, pumps and high-pressure washer
Skills/Qualifications:
Current TWIC Card
Valid driver's license
Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record
Acceptable Background Check
Ability to understand and communicate in the English language
Working Conditions:
Ability to lift 50 lbs. repeatedly for the duration of the shift.
Ability to stand for long periods of time; bend, kneel and lift cumbersome and/or heavy objects.
Willingness to work in inclement weather situations.
Willing to work other than scheduled times when needed to meet deadlines or ensure that daily work is completed.
Pass required Drug Screens and Physicals
Pass a Pulmonary Fit Test and wear proper respirator with no limitations
Availability to work a variety of shifts when needed including nights, weekends and overtime as business needs dictate
Ability to work in a refinery with loud, hazardous conditions, potentially hazardous chemicals and industrial settings.
Working in various temperatures and outdoors in all
Previous waste handling experience, preferably in an industrial setting.
Strong safety focus.
Valid driver's license, clean MVR
Available to travel to different sites as needed
Physical fitness for lifting and carrying.
Effective communication and teamwork skills.
Adaptability in a fast-paced turnaround environment.
