Tax Partner

Job Description:

A Tax Partner at WSRP Advisory, LLC holds a pivotal role responsible for managing, developing, and maintaining client relationships and internal connections. This role involves advising clients on the tax implications of their business objectives, selecting actions to minimize tax burden and compliance costs, and acting as the primary contact for complex tax issues. The partner also works on understanding potential tax issues, recognizing and communicating risks, and potential changes in tax policies. Additionally, the Tax Partner contributes to marketing, networking, business development within their area of expertise, and may provide written tax advice to clients.

What You Will Do:

• Oversee tax operations, ensure compliance, and timely completion of all tax-related tasks

• Guide and nurture the professional growth of team members through mentoring and developmental initiatives

• Review current tax structures, develop optimization methods, and perform tax planning

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients

• Develop and leverage a strong professional network to attract new clients and expand the firm's client base

• Work with the partner and management teams to continuously improve the efficiencies of the firm

• Monitor the financial performance of client relationships

• Assist clients during IRS and State audits

• Collaborate with the firm's client accounting services for additional client support

• Expand knowledge in various tax areas to better serve the firm's client base

• All other tasks as assigned

What You Will Bring:

• Uphold the highest ethical standards in all dealings, maintaining client confidentiality and ensuring compliance with regulations

• Substantial experience in the customer service field and the proficiency to cultivate exceptional client relationships

• Proven proficiency in multiple areas of tax law and compliance

• Leadership skills and a positive attitude to foster a healthy firm culture

• Streamline processes and workflows to optimize the use of time and resources

• Highly motivated self-starter with ability to multitask and complete assignments within time constraints and deadlines

• Delegate tasks while providing team members with the autonomy and authority to excel in their responsibilities

• Excellent project management, oral and written communication skills

• Solid hands-on experience with tax software

• Proficiency in MS Office applications

• Analytical skills with close attention to details

• Ability to find solutions to problems effectively

• Embrace a mindset of continuous learning, staying updated on industry trends, tax laws, and emerging technologies

Education:

• Master’s degree Accounting or similar field

• CPA License
