Technical Regional Sales Account Manager for Carbide Products- East Coast


LHH Recruitment Solutions is hiring a Technical Regional Sales Account Manager. The selected candidate will be responsible for selling carbide products, primarily pressed and sintered carbide blanks, to the cutting tools manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will have a proven background in technical sales and a strong understanding of the manufacturing sector. This position offers flexibility in terms of candidate location, with a preference for individuals based on the East Coast due to consumer concentration in that area.


Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrated history and proficiency in selling pressed and sintered carbide blanks to the cutting tools manufacturing industry.
  • Proven track record of driving sales growth, building client relationships, and closing deals.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to persuade and influence clients.
  • Identify and engage new customers through phone calls, personal visits, internet research, networking, and business publications to continually increase sales and expand the customer base.
  • Develop and deliver professional, effective sales presentations by maintaining up-to-date awareness of company activities, industry trends, and government regulations.
  • Prepare quotes and contracts for potential customers, ensuring accurate pricing and configurations in all quote documentation.
  • Maintain all sales demonstration tools and applications.
  • Ensure accurate processing of customer orders and monitor customer needs to facilitate continuous product availability. Provide post-sale customer service to maintain good customer relations and increase sales.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years in field sales or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Prior sales experience in the manufacturing industry is required.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Ability to travel 50% - driving or flying as needed.
