KYOCERA SENCO Industrial Tools, Inc. is a leading manufacturer of industrial tools and fastening solutions. We are seeking a talented Technical Sales Specialist to join our dynamic team in/around the Chicago, IL or Green Bay, WI area. As part of the SENCO sales team, you will have the opportunity to manage Industrial accounts as the main point of contact for SENCO customers.

Basic Function

This role is responsible for managing industrial accounts in a designated area, fostering relationships with key personnel of the industrial facilities, and being a liaison between the customer and SENCO.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Responsible for managing assigned industrial accounts in the region.
  • Builds strong relationships with purchasing and plant managers for each assigned account.
  • Conducts fastener cycle counts at the assigned industrial facilities.
  • Annually conducts tool audits for each customer.
  • Work as a liaison between SENCO and the customer for order mishaps/ short- shipments.
  • Responsible for repairing SENCO tools for customers.
  • Conduct training and product demonstrations for tool and fastener use in industrial applications.
  • Develop territory knowledge and assist in new business growth with Territory Sales Managers.
  • Be a SENCO ambassador at Industrial facilities and assist in upselling SENCO products to established customers.
  • May need to travel to trade shows.
  • Effectively manages account information and order forms.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Must have a high school degree or an equivalent.
  • Technical/Mechanical certification or applicable experience is preferred.
  • One to three years of technical experience with pneumatic tools is preferred.
  • Experience in a trades field (construction or manufacturing) is preferred.
  • Must be willing to travel 75% of the job throughout the territory weekly.
  • Needs to have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Must be able to work efficiently in a remote setting and manage deadlines.
  • Experience in conflict management.
  • Has a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products.

Requirements

  • Must have a valid driver license.
  • Must have a clean driving record.
  • Must be able to drive for prolonged periods of time up to, six hours on the road.
  • Must be able to walk the parameter of industrial plants, 70% of the time.
  • Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds on a daily basis.
  • Must be able to bend and squat up to 30% of the time.
