Our client, a leading technology company, is seeking a Technical Writer / Sociotechnical Linguist to join their team. As a Technical Writer / Sociotechnical Linguist, you will be part of the Search Assistant and Intelligence Responsible AI Science team supporting Responsible AI initiatives. The ideal candidate will have excellent writing skills, critical thinking, and strong problem-solving abilities, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Technical Writer / Sociotechnical Linguist

Location: Remote – USA

Pay Range: $54 - $58/hour on W2

What’s the Job?

• Collaborate with feature teams to conduct in-depth analyses.
• Develop measurement artifacts, methods, practices, and tools.
• Identify, measure, and mitigate Responsible AI (RAI) harms caused by large-scale language technologies.
• Use expertise in linguistics and social sciences to identify patterns in content harms.
• Capture patterns in methods, practices, resources, and tools applicable across different language technologies, use cases, and deployment contexts.
  
  
  

What’s Needed?

• Bachelor's degree in linguistics or a related social science field.
• 5-7 years of overall experience in the field.
• Minimum 3+ years of experience interacting with generative AI.
• Minimum 3+ years of experience with content design.
• Minimum 3+ years of experience with Excel.
