Technician

Our client manufactures and distributes hydrogen back up power & fueling for their clients. They're on a mission to create clean, safe, and energy resilient communities by providing affordable Hydrogen that is locally sourced.

They're looking for a Plant Technician to help run their first fully operational Hydrogen plant which is poised to be their Center of Excellence as they grow.

What You'll Do:

• Perform troubleshooting and maintenance on hydrogen gas equipment for safe operations which includes flanged systems, compressor rebuilds, gaskets, medium pressure fittings.
• Monitor equipment performance, recommending and procuring suitable parts for performance upgrades. You'd get the chance to interface with vendors as needed!
• Maintain company service truck (F-550) & tools.
• Respond in an urgent manner to address repair issues outside normal working hours should a need arise.

What You'll Need:

• High School Diploma Required, Technical Degree, or Military Experience preferred along with 3+ years of professional experience.
• Mechanical, electrical (+24VDC), and controls experience
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, P&IDs, and single line drawings.
• Previous exposure to compression systems, pressure vessels and piping, and instrumentation.
• Hydrogen, Industrial Gas, Gas Chromatograph, & Analytical experience is plus!
• US Citizenship, no sponsorship available at this time.
