About the Role

We seek a personable, skilled, and highly motivated Technology Procurement Specialist (TPS) to join our Technology Procurement Group. We offer a stimulating work environment with excellent benefits.


Role Responsibilities

  • Supports the enforcement of IT procurement policy using the available procurement review/approval systems.
  • Review IT procurement requests to safeguard against duplicative investments.
  • Assists in creating and configuring NetSuite and Ivanti reports showing planned/requested IT spending. Show actual IT spending to finance as requested.
  • Assists in creating and configuring reports from NetSuite and Ivanti that provide data and metrics for assessments, analysis, and future planning;
  • Establishes and maintains a business relationship with both domestic and international Value Added Resellers (VARs).
  • Coordinate technology procurement bids among VARs.
  • Generate and track all technology purchase orders.
  • Code and process all technology invoices.
  • Maintain efficient, accurate, and traceable e-filing systems for all VARs SOWs, contracts, agreements, and contacts.
  • Reconcile all PO’s, packing sheets, and invoice discrepancies.
  • Administrate all corporate cell phone ordering and distribution.
  • Responsible for ordering and assigning software and/or licensing subscriptions.
  • Prepare and maintain procurement process and procedure documentation.
  • Maintain current knowledge and understanding of domestic and international technology-related licensing laws and regulations.
  • Creates professional, accurate correspondence for communications with staff members and VARs.
  • Coordinate technology shipments.



Knowledge, Skills and Experience Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management, finance, or related studies, as well as equivalent work experience, is preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years procurement/purchasing work experience.
  • Background in technology is a plus.
  • Excellent user knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and Windows O/S.
  • Experience in NetSuite or Ivanti is a plus.
  • Certifications in Microsoft Licensing are a plus.
  • Able to construct appropriate, concise, and grammatically correct correspondence.
  • Able to communicate effectively with staff, vendors, and upper management.
  • Consistently good team player with a positive attitude.
  • Ability to multitask and stay well organized in a fast-paced environment.
  • Some travel and weekend work may be required.
