Telecom Technician - 228011

We are looking for a Telecommunications Technician to join our health systems client on a consulting/contract opportunity. This consulting/contract engagement will run through the end of the year and be supporting a large Alcatel telecommunications deployment at a number of hospitals and clinics in the Green Bay, WI area.

This person will be based out of the Green Bay area, and travel onsite to hospital and clinics location in that area for deployment work.

Role/Responsibilities:

• Looking for a telecom resource to help complete a fairly aggressive timeline of key telecom projects in the Green Bay, WI. This project will go at least until the end of the year
• Alcatel phone deployment - replacing Cisco
• This Telecom Technician will be in front of customers and caregivers at their clinics and hospitals
• This position is not a high level engineer, but more physically hands on work unboxing phones, doing the upgrade and doing cabling work in the closets and data centers.
• Each day they may not be at the same site; Could be at a hospital or clinic

Required Skills/Experience:

• Candidates should have a strong telecommunications background in either phone support, phone projects or even simply placing phones and confirm programming.
• If they have Alcatel even better, but not a requirement
• Experience deploying Telecom equipment
• Experience unboxing phones, connecting them to a network switch, placing them on a desk and do some cabling work
• Excellent communications
• Must have reliable transportation to drive to various hospital and clinics sites in the Green Bay area and/or Milwaukee area.
