The individual accepting this assignment will teach physical education at the middle school level (grades 6-8) and elective courses.
Must communicate effectively with parents, staff, and students.
Will teach Activities/Fitness.
Must work effectively with students of varying abilities.
Special Requirements: (Licensure, training, specialty skills or previous experience)
Valid Oregon teaching license appropriate to the assignment.
Physical Education endorsement required.
Background in weight training preferred.
Must demonstrate excellent attendance and punctuality.
Provide structure and leadership to facilitate physical education curriculum change and assist in identifying physical education curricular needs.
Provide advice and consultation in regard to District policy formation and priorities as they affect physical education.
Ability to work well with other staff, students, and parents.
This TEMPORARY half time position is for the remainder of the 2024-25 school year.
Annual salary to be prorated based on start date.
