As a Territory Sales Representative, you will be responsible for the functions outlined below:
Job Responsibilities
Demonstrating commitment to and leadership of environmental health and safety principles, policies and procedures.
Develop a strong business plan to increase dealer sales within your assigned territory
Meet with customers face to face in the territory to conduct product demonstrations and exhibitions.
Develop training materials and schedules for dealers within your assigned territory.
Work with Inside Sales Team to maximize efficiency while traveling
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local firearm laws
Conduct in store events at a minimum of 3 times per month
Maintain up to date sales history for all assigned accounts within your territory
Maintain open order reports for all assigned accounts within your territory
Maintain assigned company equipment
Participates in the company’s efforts to continuously improve in Safety, 6S, Quality, Delivery and Productivity.
Expected to be a contributor to the company standards on high integrity, safety, fair and equitable treatment and a positive work environment.
Other responsibilities as deemed appropriate or necessary by management.
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
Bachelor’s Degree or higher with 2-4 years of related experience or a combination of related experience, education and/or training to sufficiently and successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
Reports to Director of Commercial Sales.
Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work.
Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function.
Proven ability to establish and maintain business relationships.
Self-driven excellent time management skills.
Excellent understanding of firearm safety and function.
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoin.t
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Conflict management and resolution skills.
Time management skills.
Ability to multi-task.
Excellent attention to detail.
Ability to communicate clearly with customers and company leadership.
Travel requirements: 45-65% of the year.
Demonstrated ability to work in accordance with our Permission to Play Values.
Physical Requirements
Must be able to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.
Requires intermittent standing, walking, sitting and bending throughout the normal work day – extensively at trade shows, meetings, etc.
Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment, to include working in and around machinery, exposure to noise and chemicals, lights/lasers, etc.
Must be able to wear appropriate Personal Protection Equipment as required by your position and/or Company policy.
