Job Title: Test Technician II (1st Shift)

Client: Medical Device Manufacturing Company

Duration: 06 months with possible extension

Location: Chanhassen, MN 55317

Shift: 1st shift

Job Description:

• Responsibilities:
• Set up test apparatus and conduct tests of production assemblies.
• Assemble units for production equipment according to designs and specifications.
• Adjust and calibrate systems as needed.
• Modify equipment by adding, removing, or altering components.
• Correct malfunctions by making adjustments or replacing parts.
• Use hand tools, small power tools, and various measuring and testing devices.
• Monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.
• Technician Support Career Stream:
• Provide technical support in production, operations, maintenance, safety, testing, process improvement, or product development.
• Use schematics, diagrams, and plans to perform testing and troubleshooting.
• Gather, maintain, and manipulate technical data using established procedures.
• Perform detailed mathematical calculations.
• Suggest and/or make improvements to optimize work processes.
• Differentiating Factors:
• Autonomy: Work under moderate supervision, performing tests, interpreting data, and developing reports.
• Organizational Impact: Perform intermediate technical activities requiring judgment and decision-making.

• Required Knowledge and Experience:
• Basic job knowledge of systems, techniques, and procedures obtained through prior work experience or education.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience; vocational or technical education or certification may be required.
  

Day-to-Day Tasks/Responsibilities:

• Translate written content for health monitoring program from English to Spanish.
• Maintain consistency of healthcare terminology and style across translations.
• Conduct thorough editing and proofreading of translated text.
• Perform QA on translated audio content and document inconsistencies.
• Collaborate efficiently with cross-functional teams.
• Adapt translations to local cultural contexts as necessary.
• Handle multiple translation projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Provide translation support to other teams as needed.
• Work collaboratively or independently within a diverse team.
• Understand the importance of HIPAA guidelines.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in translation, linguistics, or related field.
• Native-level proficiency in Spanish and near-native proficiency in English.
