Our client has an opening for a Testbed Engineer with Solaris and Linux system administrator experience.
An active Top Secret security clearance is required
Hybrid work schedule with 1 day/week work from home
The Testbed Engineer will maintain the security configuration of fielded equipment, as well as establishing and maintaining the software and hardware development environment used for these test platforms, which includes directory services, version-control systems, script languages, and Solaris and Linux servers and workstations, both physical and virtualized using VMware ESXi.
Required Skills
Bachelor Degree and 10+ years of Linux Systems Administration, and Network Testbed Systems experience
Administering work stations on in a testbed/lab environment
Virtualization experience (VM Management, Snapshots, SANs and iSCSI Storage)
DNS, DHCP, Load balancing
LAN and VPN experience
Cisco Adaptive Security Appliances
Strong backup experience and proven ability to protect mission critical data
SCCM, Active Directory and LDAP experience
Experience configuring and managing centralized logging and audit capabilities
An ACTIVE TOP SECRET clearance is required
Travel to field sites (domestic) 6-7 times/year to perform system upgrades will be required
