Google's Raxium display group has established a revolutionary semiconductor materials display technology that enables new functionality in display products, bringing to users a closer and more natural linkage between the digital and physical realms in applications such as augmented reality (AR) and light-field display. With start-up roots and a state-of-the-art compound semiconductor fab in Silicon Valley, Raxium is seeking to build upon its engineering team with an aim to disrupt next-generation display markets.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $122,000-$178,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience working in a thin film process engineering technical environment, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.
- Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Semiconductor Processing, or a related field.
- 5 years of thin film process engineering experience in a production silicon fab environment.
- Experience with thin film characterization including profilometer, ellipsometer, and others.
- Experience with technical problem solving and collaborative innovation.
- Understanding of CVD, PVD, Ebeam, ALD, as it relates to processes control and capability.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to the culture and technology in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities
- Develop and sustain new processes associated with thin film deposition tools including PECVD, e-beam, PVD, and others.
- Own driving process control to improve yields.
- Work with the Process Engineering team to select our next generation of tools needed for volume manufacturing.
- Collaborate with the Integration team to develop new process capabilities that address new design requirements.
- Develop systems and methodologies to drive process stability and control.
