About The Role

  • As a Training Manager at our The Auctus Group, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing comprehensive training programs that enhance the skills and knowledge of our employees. Your role will involve assessing training needs, designing effective training materials, and delivering engaging sessions to ensure our team stays current with industry standards and best practices. You will collaborate closely with department heads to tailor training initiatives that align with organizational goals, improve performance, and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations

What You'll Do

  • Conducts needs analysis studies and confers with managers and supervisors to determine training needs.
  • Compiles data and analyzes past and current year training requirements to prepare budgets and justify funds requested.
  • Formulates training policies, programs, and schedules, based on knowledge of identified training needs, company production processes, business systems, or changes in products, procedures, or services.
  • Selects appropriate instructional procedures or methods such as individual training, group instruction, self-study, lectures, demonstrations, simulation exercises, role play, and computer-based training.
  • Organizes and develops training manuals, reference library, testing and evaluation procedures, multimedia visual aids, and other educational materials.
  • Trains assigned instructors and supervisory personnel in effective techniques for training, such as new employees' orientation, on-the-job training, sales techniques, health and safety practices, management development, and adaptations to changes in policies, procedures, and technologies.
  • Researches and selects outside consultants and trainers to conduct training in specific topics.
  • Maintains records and prepares statistical reports to evaluate performance of instructors and monitor progress of trainees.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of full cycle revenue cycle management experience. The Training Manager must know medical billing, denial codes, modifiers, rejection and denial management. This experience does not necessarily mean that the candidate was a Revenue Cycle Manager but they need to know how to answer and train to new billers (billers with 1+ years of experience).
  • Strong knowledge of Medical Billing Systems is a major plus. The candidate must be able to learn medical billing systems from front to back; they need to know how to do all processes. The top systems we use are ModMed and Nextech, but a knowledge of Practice +, Symplast, Remedly, AMD and ECW would be helpful.
  • Proven ability to design, develop, and deliver training programs, both in-person and virtually, using various instructional methods and technologies.
  • Excellent organizational, project management, and analytical skills, with the ability to assess training effectiveness and implement improvements.
