Transportation Manager

As a Transportation Manager, you’ll be responsible for the complete management of all transportation activities in the Memphis DC.

What You’ll Do

• Act as the transportation owner for the Memphis DC.
• Manage all pre-paid and collect scheduling for all transportation.
• Work closely with Uber Freight on scheduling of shipments, escalating when issues occur.
• Initiate and manage escalations from commercial teams while working with our Logistics Account Manager.
• Support Region Transport Manager in the forecasting process towards carriers; secure high season readiness and manage driving bans and carrier restrictions around bank holidays related to Markets served by the DC.
  
  

Your Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree highly preferred and 5+ years' work experience in a logistics environment with a strong customer focus required
• Proven track-record managing transport network(s) via transport service providers; pro-active and challenging attitude towards carriers and other stakeholders to solve issues quickly
• Problem solving and analytical skills, energized dealing with problems and solving them
• Experience with TMS (Transportation Management System) software
• Uber Freight and 3PL experience preferred
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future company sponsorship needs.

• Salary: $105,800 - 155, 210
• Bonus: target bonus opportunity - 15%
