Role Overview
As a Transportation Supervisor, you will lead a team of Delivery Drivers across multiple locations, reporting directly to the Transportation Director. Your responsibilities will include planning, coordinating, and overseeing transportation operations to meet our service goals.
Key Responsibilities
Training and Development: Conduct comprehensive training sessions for new hires, ensuring they are well-prepared for their roles. Support ongoing development for all drivers to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Safety and Compliance: Promote a culture of safety among drivers, emphasizing adherence to safety protocols and regulatory requirements. Monitor and maintain documentation to ensure compliance with company and DOT regulations.
Operational Support: Assist in scheduling drivers and overseeing equipment maintenance. Collaborate closely with the Operations VP and Sales teams to provide timely updates and ensure seamless service delivery.
Customer Focus: Work collaboratively with our sales team to uphold our commitment to exceptional customer service. Help optimize delivery routes to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Additional Responsibilities
Support the Transportation Manager as needed, including weekend responsibilities and occasional travel.
Serve as a backup for route delivery when required, ensuring products are transported according to company and regulatory standards.
Participate in accident investigations and implement corrective actions as necessary.

Qualifications
Previous experience in transportation operations or logistics preferred.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards is a plus.
High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications a bonus.
