Job Description

This role is a Temp-to-Hire Role that pays $22 an hour and the conversion hourly rate is negotiable. You must have 2 years of leadership experience as a Machine Operator. This is a 12 hour rotating Day shift 7a to 7:15p and 12 hour rotating Night shift 7p to 7:15a. Please do not apply if you are not willing to work a 12 hour rotating shift!

We're seeking a Production Floor Assistant to help streamline our manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will be a vital team player, capable of ensuring efficient production operations. This role demands attention to detail and a proactive approach to overcoming challenges and facilitating smooth workflow. As a Production Assistant, you will support the supervisor in day-to-day operations, adhere to safety standards, and contribute to the success of our products.

Essential Functions:

 Operate machinery and equipment according to instructions.

 Compile production documents, like reports and schedules, accurately and timely.

 Assist in assigning work schedules to Direct Labor (Machine Operators), technicians and any employees on Shift.

 Conduct regular quality checks and report any discrepancies.

 Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety regulations.

 Work collaboratively with other team members to meet production targets.

Position Requirements:

 High school diploma or equivalent; further certification in production or relevant field preferred.

 Experience In a Manufacturing Setting, Preferred

 Strong organizational and communication skills.

 Ability to stand for extended periods and handle physical workload.

 A keen eye for detail and commitment to quality.

 Basic Computer Knowledge - Outlook, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)

 Bilingual in Spanish, preferred

Food Safety Requirements:

 Monitor and verify activities to ensure that all maintenance work in the facility meet food safety standards in addition to quality standards.

 Comply with all company food safety and quality assurance procedures and complete documentation correctly.

 Ensure all work product contact surfaces are restored to sanitary condition after any job completion.

 Report incidents, and product or process failures that could impact food safety of manufactured product to your direct reports and submit a safety/food safety incident report.
