The User Researcher will partner with the product teams in a variety of projects that address key moments in the customer journey.
Through supporting methodologies such as interviews, surveys, mixed-method studies, usability, and piloting new qualitative techniques, the User Researcher will partner with Analysts, synthesize, and report on new customer insights.
The project focus will be researching our evolving Customer Experience both inside the Cabin and out to support our Client unique value Experiences.
Experiences merging both physical and digital customer experiences will be within scope.
The User Researcher will work to figure out the "why behind customer behavior to better inform product initiatives. They advocate for the user through rigorous analysis to interpret that voice for better product decisions.
The focus will be the front end of the Customer Experience and extraction of pain points, requirements and opportunity spaces. This work will not involve final mass production development.
Responsibilities
UX research and testing using moderated and unmoderated user tests and interviews
Create research and testing scripts
Support research and testing analysis and reports
Synthesize customer feedback in the form of user observations
Archive test findings and video recordings
Execute self-driven research plans
Support the evolution of UX Strategy for the Cabin Experience and with our interdisciplinary partners
Contribute to research reports for wider organization distribution
Create and test low-fidelity prototypes of use-case scenarios
Study competitor products to identify market trends and identify potential addressable gaps
Conduct Usability testing / heuristic evaluation
Conduct A/B Testing to compare the effectiveness of multiple use-case scenarios
Support participant recruiting activities
Requirements
3+ years professional experience
Demonstrated experience in project management
Experience in Digital/Software/Hardware domains a plus
Familiarity with remote testing tools
A portfolio showcasing relevant research case studies
Expertise in Human Centered Research & Design principles
Experience in Customer Journey Mapping
Experience interviewing users in a one-on-one context
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
Able to adapt to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
High degree of initiative, personal responsibility, and ownership
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Data analytics skillset and tools ready to apply
Education
Education:
B.S./B.A in a program with relation to Usability, Human-Computer Interaction, Human Factors or similar
