Position Title: UX Designer 5

Position Description: Protingent has an exciting contract opportunity for a UX Designer 5 with our client located in Redmond, WA. This is a remote role with PST Time Zone.

Job Responsibilities:

• We are hiring a UX and visual designer to develop, create, and modify user interfaces and design assets for our organization. Candidate should have a strong portfolio and experience in the industry.

• Deliver high-quality design assets (UX & visual) on time
• Utilize Figma to create designs and prototypes
• Create scenarios, process flows, information architecture diagrams, wireframes, prototypes, UI pattern libraries, interaction guidelines and other artifacts required to develop and evolve designs for a set of enterprise products, and services.
• Work collaboratively on a larger design team made up of interaction designers, visual designers, motion designers and front-end developers focused on end-to-end experiences.
• Follow coherent patterns and guidelines or help create them as applicable.
• Execute all design activities with high-quality and thoroughness.
• Purpose of the Team: This team is within the software core organization and focuses on creating entry points for customers to get started with and use Azure, as well as working on marketplace experiences for commercial customers
• Key projects:
• This role will contribute to visionary work on client commercial marketplace, showcasing the vision through a series of demo videos. So, the role requires strong visual design skills and experience in building design assets for video as well as standard UX design skills.
• Typical task breakdown and operating rhythm:
• The role will consist of 10% meeting, 20% collaboration with other designers and 70% heads down with design assets.
  
  
  

Job Qualifications:

• Must Have Minimum 10 years’ experience with Visual Design Skills, but would consider candidates with less years of experience if they have strong portfolio.
• Must Have Minimum 10 years’ experience with UX/UI Dessign Skills, but would consider candidates with less years of experience if they have strong portfolio.
• Must Have Proficient with FIGMA.
• 5-10+overall years of experience in the field, but open to candidates with less experience but with very strong portfolio.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required.
• Strong portfolio showcasing high-quality UX (depth and breadth) & visual design work.
• A degree in UX or digital design is preferred, but open to considering candidates with strong portfolio and relevant experience.
• The ideal resume would contain strong communication skills, adaptability, strong visual design skills, and personal drive and determination (evidence of continuous learning and skill development).
• Experience in software design and development.
• Experience in professional UX/UI development.
• Experience with visual design for digital purposes (PPT design, brand design, logo design, icon creation).
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Good fundamental design skills (typography, iconography, composition, color, layout, etc.) and creation of a variety of visual mood boards, storyboards, creative briefs, and motion and visual guideline.
• Ability to quickly produce elegant and easily understood diagrams, wireframes, concept maps, prototypes, interaction guidelines and other related artifacts for a strong interaction point-of-view.
• Ability to create videos and video assets is preferred.
• Ability to design in 2D and 3D is preferred.
  
  
  

Job Details:

• Job Type: Contract
• Location: Remote (Need to work PST time zone).
• Pay Range: $71/hr. to $95/hr.
