Are you a UX Designer, passionate about new technologies, driving change through data, and using customer obsessed design processes to create products and services.
We're on a journey to build something new! We are building new research, discovery, and shopping products that can connect customers to their car of choice. Our goal is to simplify the car buying process and our group functions as a start-up within Amazon. Key job responsibilities
Collaborate and work closely with other designers, research, product management, and engineering from design concept to design solution.
Work in a start-up style environment, where iteration is encouraged and design acumen is demonstrated through design end-to-end product ownership.
Simplify complex ideas and create intuitive experiences, using research and data to identify opportunities and inform decisions.

This role is one of the first on a newly formed team in with a vision to create innovative automotive discovery and shopping experiences on Amazon, providing customers better convenience and more selection. We’re collaborating with other experienced teams at Amazon to define the future of how customers research and shop for cars online.
Basic Qualifications
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $72,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $158,100/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits. Basic Qualifications
- 2+ years of design experience
- Have an available online portfolio
- Experience with a variety of design tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Fireworks, Visio, Axure, and Dreamweaver
- Experience in prototyping
- Experience in a highly agile environment
- Experience working in a collaborative multi-disciplinary team and working directly with developers for implementation of designs
