Position Summary

We're seeking a UX Designer with a keen eye for design, a passion for improving user interfaces, and the desire to solve fun complex usability challenges. This role will focus on enhancing the user experience of our platform across web and mobile, ensuring a seamless and intuitive interaction for our users across multiple devices as well as integrations with multiple services.

Essential Functions

  • Collaborate with Engineers, Front-end developers and Product owners to refine and iterate on the design of our platform, ensuring a cohesive user experience across all touchpoints.
  • Utilize Figma, specifically leveraging Components, Tokens, Variables and Auto-layouts, to develop and prototype robust, and intuitive features and improvements.
  • Work within and contribute to our existing component library, ensuring consistency and reusability across our design system.
  • Leverage usability and behavioral data as well as conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and identify usage trends.
  • Translate user feedback and usability findings into clear, actionable design improvements.
  • Design solutions that are not only visually appealing but also highly functional, intuitive and user-friendly across desktop and mobile devices.
  • Work independently and remotely, managing time effectively to meet project deadlines and objectives.

Education & Experience Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Design, User Experience, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Years of Experience: At least 3 years of experience in Web, Mobile and Customer facing User Experience and User Interface design.



Knowledge & Skill Requirements

  • Proficiency in Figma, including a strong understanding of the Auto-layouts, Variables, and Tokens with a broad experience working with component libraries.
  • A portfolio that demonstrates a strong foundation in UX design principles and a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a remote team, with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to look at a screenshot of an interface and immediately tell if spacing, alignment and padding around a particular div is off.
  • Experience designing for multiple devices (desktop and mobile) and platforms.
  • Creative problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing usability issues while being the voice of the user.
  • Any front-end development experience (CSS3+, SCSS, etc.) is a plus!
