Paradigm is a software company transforming the way that the residential, construction & building product industries operate across the globe. We are looking for a UX Designer to be part of revolutionizing these industries.

This role will be responsible for creating user-centered designs and enhancing the overall user experience for our digital products. From conducting user research to developing wireframes and prototypes, you will play an important role in shaping the look, feel, and usability of our digital products.

What You Will Do:

  • You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and other stake holders, to understand product goals and requirements.
  • You will ensure that design solutions are not only technically feasible, but also align with both user experience objectives and business goals, taking development capabilities into account.
  • You will work closely with developers to ensure accurate implementation of design specifications.
  • You will be proactive in understanding technical constraints. Work within these boundaries, but also be prepared to challenge them to advocate for the best possible solution.
  • You will create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, and prototypes to effectively communicate design ideas and concepts.
  • You will contribute to the development and maintenance of design patterns, guidelines, and standards to ensure consistency across digital products.
  • You will conduct user research, including usability testing, surveys, and interviews to deeply understand user needs, motivations, and behaviors.
  • You will keep up to date with industry trends, best practices, and advancements in UX design.


What You Need to Succeed:

  • Ideally you have a Bachelor’s degree in UX Design, Human-Computer Interaction or a related field or have attended a bootcamp with relevant working experience.
  • You have been a UX Designer for 3+ years, including working with cross-functional teams and other UX designers.
  • You are proficient in design tools, such as Figma and have an understanding of user-centered design, web accessibility standards, information architecture and interaction design across various devices and platforms.
  • You have experience with in-depth user behavior analysis, preferably using tools, such as Google Analytics, Pendo and/or Maze.
  • You have familiarity of front-end development technologies, such as HTML, CSS, React and Angular.
  • You have effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively present and defend design ideas and solutions.
  • Please note, in addition to uploading your resume, a design portfolio is required for consideration for this role. Ensure it contains 3-4 examples showcasing your expertise in user-centered design principles and designing in line with specific brand guidelines.


Individual compensation packages are based on various factors unique to each candidate, including skill set, experience, qualifications, and other job-related reasons. Most roles at Paradigm have three levels, Associate, Mid and Senior. Our pay ranges are inclusive of all three levels (if applicable), our US based Associate level pay begins at $54,975 annually for this role. The salary does not reflect total compensation, which includes base salary and benefits. These compensation levels are subject to an annual review.
