Job Description
UF Pet Emergency Treatment Services in Ocala, FL is looking for a veterinary assistant to help technicians, client service representatives, and doctors to provide excellent patient care and customer service. Our assistant positions are the perfect entry for less experienced individuals interested in becoming better acquainted with the emergency animal care environment. Assistants are responsible for assisting with client and patient interactions, maintaining hospital cleanliness, as well as maintaining inventory and stock.

Night shifts available. May require working holidays and weekends.
This position is considered essential personnel and requires a post-offer health assessment.
Expected Salary
$15.00-$17.00
Minimum Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in veterinary medicine
- Certified veterinary assistant

This is a CARE position offering limited benefits, including health insurance and paid time off. When appropriate certifications are achieved, promotional opportunities to a level II title may be available. This position will also become eligible for transition into a TEAMS (staff) salary plan.
