The Vice President will oversee agency output to ensure quality control and client ROI, be a part of the firm’s executive leadership team and supervise, train and grow team members. This ideal candidate thrives leading a team, managing high visibility and complex client initiatives, is an expert strategist and tactician, and has excellent communications skills and executive presence.  

Role and Responsibilities 


  • Lead the strategy, development and implementation of large-scale and highly strategic client programs.  
  • Provide counsel to all account groups on judgmental situations with clients and media.  
  • Daily review of trending coverage; monitoring progress of initiatives.    
  • Supervise account leads and oversee account activities; Develop and maintain appropriate budgets to fit scopes of work.  
  • Serve as a mentor and support professional development of staff. 
  • Be an active contributor to firm initiatives and help drive innovation in client services across practice areas. 

 

Qualifications  


  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university in Journalism, Public Relations, Communications or related field  
  • Minimum 10 years work experience in strategic communications, corporate communications, media or similar field     
  • Strong verbal communications skills and executive presence 
  • Strategic thinker and strong project manager  
  • Highly motivated self-starter with strong time management skills   

  

 Salary range: $125,000-$150,000K based on experience
