Role Summary

Lead the development and implementation of long-term corporate strategies that align with the company’s vision and goals.

Job Scope/Supervision

This role will interact and collaborate closely with senior leaders in all departments within GTT.

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Strategic Planning - Lead the development and implementation of long-term corporate strategies that align with the company’s vision and goals.
  • Market Analysis - Conduct in-depth market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and threats.
  • Mergers & Acquisitions - Support identification, evaluation, and execution of M&A opportunities to drive growth and expand market presence.
  • Business Development - Collaborate with the executive team to identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and alliances.
  • Performance Monitoring: Collaborate with executive team to establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and regularly assess the company’s performance against strategic objectives.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, board of directors, partners, and regulatory bodies.

Required Experience/Qualifications

  • Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in strategic planning, corporate development, strategy consulting or related roles within the telecommunications industry. Proven track record of success in a senior leadership position.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • Demonstrated experience in M&A and business development.
  • Ability to think strategically and translate strategies into actionable plans.
  • Leadership and team-building skills.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis.

Hours/Travel/Shift

This role requires standard 40 hour workweek, with minimal travel as required.

  • Strategic Thinking: Knowledge of the importance of "big picture" thinking and planning; ability to apply organizational acumen and competitiveness to identify and maintain focus on key success factors for the organization.
  • Key Performance Indicators: Knowledge of business metrics and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and ability to use strategies and tools for defining and measuring progress toward goals.
  • Stakeholder Management: Knowledge of stakeholder management techniques; ability to systematically identify stakeholders, analyze their needs and expectations, and implement various tasks to engage with them.
