THE ROLE
On Location has been appointed as the Official Hospitality Provider of the FIFA World Cup 26™! The Vice President, Event Production will be responsible for ensuring that all deliverables for their group are fulfilled at a high standard and on time. The Vice President will be a capable manager with team and events know-how, sound financial practices, project planning, team building skills, and mentoring abilities.
The ideal candidate must have extensive event marketing experience, internal team management experience, client service communication, be well organized, a self-starter, able to work with a variety of people with varying work styles, can prioritize workload, and have a drive to continue working until the job is done. This position reports to Sr. Vice President, Event Production.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities
- Lead a team of event production individuals to deliver the best product for the client and the work group
- Strategic ability to conceive, develop and implement programs that build client brand and provide a foundation to drive client business growth
- Develop and maintain an effective organization through selection, training, compensation, motivation, and performance management
- Manage internal and external staff on execution and delivery of programs
- Is highly proficient in budgeting and tracking of multi-million-dollar accounts and ensure fiscal management of each meets agency standards
- Possess and can develop key vendor/partners related to our business so we are delivering the best product and pricing for our clients
- Ability to lead large scale live events with multiple agencies, vendor, and client involvement
- Responsible for overseeing procurement with assigned Legal team, to secure MSAs for this and future business
- Able to position yourself as a leader within the team and company to help lead growth and development of organization
- Will lead the collaboration of production, accounts, creative, digital, travel, and other company divisions to ensure the best production product possible.
- Can apply best practices and learnings from previous projects to elevate performance level
- Will create accountability practices within company
- Minimum 10 years event marketing, production, and team management experience
- Production of live events, tours, and fabrication of event elements necessary
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing and/or equivalent experience in related field
- Motivational leadership, inspiring team to deliver top performance against assigned business
- Excellent interpersonal skills – will contribute culturally to the agency
- Must possess strong working relationships with multiple national and local vendors to fulfill a wide variety of fabrication and event production needs for the company.
- Strong management skills; prior internal staff management of a large group and multiple direct reports.
- Can manage the production group in the office and field. Able to help integrate that team across multiple offices and divisions.
- Strong planning and organizational skills to effectively manage numerous programs and resources simultaneously- Microsoft Project or similar planning tool experience preferred
- Sound decision-making and problem-solving skills based in agency, client, and industry knowledge
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills. Must be able to communicate across all groups in the company and clients.
- A thoroughly developed knowledge of our industry, products, and services, as well as those of our competitors and clients
- Willing and able to work nonstandard work hours, weekends and travel as required
- Must have professional appearance and persona with a strong work ethic and a positive, can-do attitude
- Microsoft Office proficient (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- A willingness to travel frequently (up to 75%) and work flexible hours

Hiring pay rates are based on a number of factors, including location and may vary depending on job-related qualifications, knowledge, skills and experience. Endeavor strives to provide locally competitive rewards packages, which include base rate along with, as applicable, short- and long-term incentives, growth and developmental opportunities, and robust benefits, such as health care, retirement, vacation and other paid time off, and additional offerings.
