Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and define market segmentation and potential
  • Evaluate and implement go-to-market strategy including eCommerce strategy
  • Manage tactical execution of sales and marketing team, including opportunity to further augment current marketing talent
  • Establish strategic sales and marketing plans to achieve objectives for products and service in coordination with global sales and marketing goals for the wide range of end markets
  • Develop and executes strategic sales and marketing programs to achieve stated objectives regarding revenue, profitability, and market share, tracking key metrics that show effectiveness of strategy and campaigns
  • Manage sales and marketing budget and negotiates contract terms with outside marketing agencies and suppliers
  • Manage structured data for sales team to drive effectiveness with distributor management, pricing, opportunity pipelines, and demand forecasting
  • Oversee market pricing and production of price lists
  • Coordinate closely with sales department to ensure that sales training aligns with marketing messages
  • Ensure new product development launches are executed seamlessly, collaborating with sales, new product development, supply chain, and product management teams
  • Provide input regarding product management
  • Oversee execution of promotional activities including electronic media, trade show, point-of-purchase displays, and signage
  • Oversee customer database and approves the use of internal and external mailing lists
  • Help establish and maintain consistent corporate image throughout product lines, promotional materials, and events internally and externally
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Education and Experience

  • B.S. degree in Sales Management, Marketing or related field
  • 10+ years of experience and a demonstrated track record of accomplishments in marketing and/or sales operations, preferably in a manufacturing setting
  • A meaningful amount of business travel is required
