Position: VP of Operations

Location: Orlando, FL

Job Description: As the Vice President of Operations, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the operational efficiency and effectiveness of our property management division. You will be responsible for leading a team of area managers and staff, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations, optimizing processes, and driving performance to achieve our strategic objectives. This position reports directly to the senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute strategies to enhance operational performance, streamline processes, and achieve financial goals.
  • Team Management: Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of property managers and support staff, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Client Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with property owners, investors, and stakeholders, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded.
  • Operational Excellence: Implement best practices in property management operations, maintenance, leasing, and tenant relations to maximize property value and tenant satisfaction.
  • Financial Management: Oversee budgeting, financial reporting, and forecasting for the property management division, ensuring financial goals are achieved and expenses are managed effectively.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, property laws, and company policies, while mitigating operational risks.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in property management or real estate operations, with at least 3 years in a senior management role.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams.
  • Strong financial acumen and experience in budget management and financial analysis.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of property management principles, practices, and regulations.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to identify opportunities for growth and operational improvement.


Salary range: $95,000+
