Position Overview

We are looking for a seasoned executive to lead and optimize our orthopedic practice. This role involves overseeing a comprehensive range of operations within the orthopedic group, ensuring both team performance and patient satisfaction. The ideal candidate will directly interact with a team of around 50 staff members to enhance workflow efficiency and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Revenue Cycle Management

  • Oversee and enhance the revenue cycle process, focusing on efficient billing, coding, and collections.
  • Utilize eClinicalWorks to streamline operations and maximize financial performance.
  • Develop strategies to reduce claim denials and increase reimbursement rates.
  • Provide monthly reports and analyses to the Executive Team.

Operational Oversight

  • Manage daily operations to ensure all departments operate effectively.
  • Develop and enforce policies and procedures to standardize workflows and improve efficiency.

Staff Management

  • Lead and support front desk staff, medical assistants, surgical schedulers, and ancillary staff.
  • Implement training programs and conduct performance evaluations to promote staff development and enhance patient service.

Patient Experience

  • Maintain high standards of patient care at all interaction points.
  • Address and resolve patient concerns and complaints in a professional and timely manner.

Strategic Planning

  • Collaborate with executives to develop and execute strategic initiatives for growth and operational improvement.
  • Monitor key performance indicators and utilize data-driven decisions to support organizational goals.

Compliance And Quality Assurance

  • Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Implement and oversee quality assurance programs to maintain the practice's reputation for excellence.

Requirements

  • US Citizenship
  • Extensive experience in revenue cycle management, preferably with eClinicalWorks.
  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
