Title: Vice President of Revenue
Location: US Eastern Time Zone / Atlanta, in-office 3 days a week preferred
Position Overview:
As the Vice President of Revenue, you will be responsible for primary revenue-generating activities, including direct sales, partner relationships, and account management. You will play a crucial role in driving our company's growth by leading sales efforts, managing key partner relationships, and ensuring value and customer experiences are well matched. In addition to your leadership responsibilities, you will also carry a direct sales quota while we build out the team.
Key Responsibilities:
Direct Sales: Lead and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets. Actively engage in closing deals, managing key accounts, and nurturing long-term customer relationships.
Outbound Prospecting: Develop and execute outbound prospecting strategies to identify and engage new potential customers. Lead efforts to build a robust pipeline of qualified leads through targeted outreach, cold calling, and networking.
Partner Relationships: Develop and manage partnerships to expand market reach, drive co-selling opportunities, and enhance the company's ecosystem. Collaborate with partners to maximize joint revenue potential.
Account Management: Oversee key customer accounts to ensure customer satisfaction, retention, and upsell opportunities for high value customers and relationships. Implement best practices for customer success and account management processes.
Team Building & Leadership: Recruit, develop, and manage a high-performing sales and account management team. Provide coaching, mentorship, and leadership to ensure the team achieves their goals and grows professionally.
Sales Operations: Collaborate with the revenue operations team to optimize sales processes, reporting, and forecasting. Implement data-driven strategies to improve sales efficiency and effectiveness.
Quota Carrying: As the team is being built, you will directly carry a sales quota, driving revenue and leading by example.
Requirements:
Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in sales or revenue leadership roles within the SaaS industry, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
People Management: Demonstrated experience in building and managing high-performing sales teams, including recruiting, training, and developing sales professionals.
Sales Operations: Strong understanding of sales or revenue operations, including experience with CRM systems (Hubspot), sales analytics, forecasting, and pipeline management.
Direct Sales: Extensive experience in direct sales, including managing complex sales cycles, closing high-value deals, and developing key customer relationships.
Outbound Prospecting Experience: Proven track record in outbound prospecting, with the ability to develop and implement successful strategies for generating new leads and converting them into revenue opportunities.
Partner Management: Proven ability to build and manage partnerships that drive revenue growth and expand market reach.
Leadership: Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve exceptional results.
Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically and execute operationally, with a focus on driving revenue growth and scaling the business.
