About The Role

Health-E Commerce is seeking an experienced and dynamic Vice President of Sales to lead our sales division. The VP of Sales will be responsible for overseeing the account management team and business development team, driving sales growth, and developing strategic sales plans. This role will report directly to the Senior Vice President (SVP) of Sales.

Sales Vision & Strategy

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to drive profitable revenue growth, manage to KPIs, and align sales objectives with corporate strategy
  • In coordination with the SVP, set clear vision and align B2B2C channel’s objectives with overall company strategy through strategic planning, sales/account management strategy, forecasting/budgeting, and resource planning
  • Manage execution of sales strategy through talent and resource allocation

Account Management

  • Maintain and lead HEC’s efforts in its B2B2C channel
  • Develop industry, competitor and regulatory knowledge and educate broader team on new updates and directions based on these learnings
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
  • Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to expand the company’s customer base.
  • Align sales talent to scale team size and productivity
  • Lead and establish learning and development initiatives
  • Manage and develop existing B2B relationships; coach and mentor AM team to ensure they meet sales goals
  • Manage lifecycle of business negotiations through close and implementation throughout with support from other teams
  • Expand existing partnerships through new product offerings in conjunction with internal stakeholders
  • Proactively develop new campaigns with the goal of increasing penetration rates and stickiness
  • Collaborate with other departments, including marketing, product development, and customer service, to ensure alignment and support for sales initiatives.
  • Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to the SVP of Sales and executive team.

What You’ll Need

  • BA/BS required in Business Management, Sales, Marketing or relevant field, advanced degree a plus.
  • Minimum 10+ years of proven sales results leading business development or sales teams
  • Proven track record of success in a senior sales leadership role, preferably as a VP of Sales or similar position.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a sales team.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, in person and via email and phone.
  • Solid experience with CRM software (Salesforce)
  • MS Office skills with emphasis on Excel & PowerPoint
  • Numbers driven and self-motivated.
  • Ability to travel as needed.

Compensation

Compensation: $175,000 - $225,000

Discretionary Annual Bonus Eligibility: Up to 40%
